If you are not able to run ssh commands in Windows Command Prompt, you will likely need to install OpenSSH on your computer.

Downloads

We have 32-bit and 64-bit versions of OpenSSH available for download from the Zoom Geeks Downloads site:

Installation

There are installation instructions available here: Install Intructions

Quick Note

Note: I recommend extracting the folder to a short location (like C:\OpenSSH) instead of Program Files or Program Files (x86). You can also stop after step 6 on the installation page.

Confirmation

Once you have confirmed that you are able to run ssh commands from the Windows Command Prompt, you're ready to Create a SSH Key.
